The Kid’s Clutter

We are moving house next month and our loft is full of the clutter the kids left behind when they moved out. We’ve asked them to come and sort it out but not one of them has done anything about it. We really don’t want to take it with us because we’re down-sizing.

Perhaps you might have to exercise some tough love by giving them three reminders and then a deadline. Once the children realise their parents are serious, if they really want their stuff it’s quite likely they will take action. It may be painful but if they ignore you, and you really don’t want to take the clutter with you, you might have to give it to charity or put it in a skip.
